Dock Rules

Seascape Dock and Boat Ramp Rules
1. The dock and boat ramp are available for use by Seascape Association members and their guests only.
2. The dock and ramp are closed from 10:00 PM to dawn, except for departing or returning boats.
3. The dock ramp should be locked at all times except when in use.
4. One key per family household will be issued for the ramp.
There will be a $50.00 deposit for the key, which will be refunded when the key is returned.
Lost keys will be replaced at a non-refundable charge of $50.00.
5. No vehicle larger than a pick-up truck is allowed on the boat ramp without special permission from a board member.
6. The outside of the dock is for loading and unloading.
7. An unattended boat may be left at the outside of the dock for a maximum of 20 minutes.
8. An attended boat may be left at the outside of the dock indefinitely provided no one else wants to use the dock.
9. The inside of the dock is for the storage of dinghies. A dinghy is a boat of Twelve feet or less in length that is used for access to a moored boat.
10. The parking area is for cars, not trailers. Trailers should be returned to the owner’s property after launching.
11. The Association’s floating docks are stored on the boat ramp in the winter.
A. The usual storage period is from mid-October to May 1.
B. The ramp is closed to all other use at that time.
12. Docks of members shall not be stored in the parking lot for the dock area.
13. Members are responsible for picking up their litter in and about the dock, ramp and parking area.
